Kabini river originates in the Wayanad District of Kerala state as a result of the confluence of the Panamaram River and the Mananthavady River. I still remember the evening when I saw the dazzling golden sunset on this river. The perfect harmony in which hues of yellow, orange and red spread and amalgamated was not just a sight but an inspiration which can bring an artist back to action in form of paintings and poetry.
