Kabini river originates in the Wayanad District of Kerala state as a result of the confluence of the Panamaram River and the Mananthavady River. I still remember the evening when I saw the dazzling golden sunset on this river. The perfect harmony in which hues of yellow, orange and red spread and amalgamated was not just a sight but an inspiration which can bring an artist back to action in form of paintings and poetry. 

The spine tingling thrill of watching the sun drowning into the water is a must to experience for every traveler. How can one afford to miss a sight as spectacular and dazzling as this?
