This is a short and sweet manual for first timers who are planning a Baku travel tour. We want to ensure that you have a shock proof experience during your Baku travel and hopefully avoid those “classic first time mistakes”. Also, we have listed a few tips and giveaways for you so that you get to know your destination a little bit better and are able to enjoy a stress-free with your family and friends. Take note of these little pointers and you are good to go.

 

  • Best time to for Baku travel - March-May & Sept-Oct ( for hiking and outdoor activities),
  • You don't have to necessarily learn their local language as English is widely spoken by the younger population. However, it doesn't hurt to learn the basics; "Hi and "Thank you" as a courtesy.
  • Azerbaijan is a relatively safe country. However, practice the needful cautions during night.
  • Tipping isn't a culture in Azerbaijan. They mostly add service charges to their bill. So, you don't really need to.
  • There are many markets in Baku where you can check out delicious food and local produce.
  • There is both coffee and wine in Azerbaijan and you can enjoy wine tasting in few wine bars as well great coffee in many of the street and town cafes.
  • For daily transportation, hop on to local buses and mini buses. You can also take the metro as it doesn't cost much.

All tours are subject to weather conditions and will operate only if weather permits, no refund will be given if services are not operated due to weather or natural problems.

Please make sure you follow the timings given by the driver and guide for all the services and transfers. In case you fail to follow the timings, the Driver will leave for which no refund will be given.

Hotels suggested in the itinerary can be changed and will be equivalent or more to the one given to you in terms of price as per the official rate sheet of the hotel.
