Bandipur National Park shares its boundary with 3 other National park namely Nagarahole National Park, Wayanad National Park and Mudumalai National park. There is ban of traffic from 9 PM to 6 AM of dusk to dawn to help to drawn down the death rate of wildlife.
Tigers, Indian Elephants, Leopard, Dhole, Sambar, Sloth bear, Chital many more animals and Birds can be spotted in the Bandipur National park.
The Preferred Way of Going from Bangalore to Bandipur National Park
The journey from Bangalore to Bandipur National Park by car takes around 4 hours via NH275 and NH212 as a distance of 218 km has to be covered. Especially if you are travelling with children, this is a great mode of transport as you can take breaks whenever necessary.

Pick up from Bangalore city or Airport and drive to Bandipur. On arrival check in and proceed for buffet lunch, at 15.30hrs drive to forest for wildlife safari (Safari Cost will be extra as per the actual). And Return to hotel around at 18.30hrs. Campfire (option is available, depends only the availability), Dinner & Overnight stay at Bandipur.
After waking up, Morning after coffee/tea proceed for Wildlife Safari at 06.30hrs (Safari Cost will be extra as per the actual).
Return to resort, have breakfast and checkout at 11.00 hrs and drive back to Bangalore.
