Cesky Krumlov is an ancient town in South Bohemia, Czech Republic. It’s bisected by the Vltava River, and the majestic 13th-century castle looms over proudly.

Kutná Hora is a beautiful city, east of Prague in the Czech Republic. It’s well known for the Gothic St. Barbara’s Church with  stunning medieval frescoes and flying buttresses.

This is a short and sweet manual for first timers who are excited to visit Czech Republic. We want to ensure that you have a shock proof experience during your Prague tour and other neighbouring cities and avoid those “classic first time mistakes” while you are there. Also, we have listed a few tips and giveaways for you so that you know your destination a tidsy bit better and can enjoy a wholesome vacation with your family and friends. 

 

  • Best time to visit Prague- October-December ( due to less tourists and better climate). May-September sees lot of tourists influx and the climate is warm and humid.
  • Most places accept cash- restaurants, bars and boutiques even though sometimes they also accept credit cards.
  • Czech Republic has a great and convenient transport system - be it buses, trams and even subways.
  • Czech Republicans are dearly fond of beer, so don't be surprised if you find a pub on almost every corner.
  • Czech Republicans use the Czech crown as their currency, NOT the euro. Something you ought to know,
  • Nightlife is Prague is superb and starts around 10 pm. Some places stay open till even 5am during weekends.
  • Tipping is customary in Prague. 10 percent is generally considered a good percentage.
  • Locals generally speak enough English for you to communicate decently
  • Although violent crime is rare in Czech Republic, theft and pick-pocketing is quite common. So, make sure where your wallet is especially when you are on public transportation or walking the streets alone at night.
Itinerary

Day 1Airport -Prague – Hotel- Karlovy Vary Sightseeing (Dinner)

Arrive at the airport. check in at the hotel/ Depart at 8:30 am for Karlovy Vary. Overnight in Prague.

Day 2Karlovy Vary- Césky Krumlov (Césky Krumlov)

After breakfast, drive to Plzen’. Visit Pilsner Urquell Brewery. Continue to the metropolis of South Bohemia, C’eske Bud^ejovice with its unique historical market square. Continue to Cesky Krumlov to visit its medieval buildings. Overnight in Cesky Krumlov.

Day 3Césky Krumlov- Trebon (Třeboň)

Have breakfast. Then, depart for aCesky Krumlov Castle. In the afternoon, depart for Třeboň. Visit Třeboň castle. In the evening, walking tour of the town or a spa visit with optional spa therapy treatment. Dinner and Ovenright in Třeboň.

Day 4Třeboň- Lednice (Lednice)

After breakfast, continue through the lush countryside of South Bohemia, stop at Telc with beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses. Continue to Valtice and Lednice in South Moravia. DInner followed by a visit to a local wine shop to taste the famous local wines. Overnight in Lednice.

Day 5Lednice- Brno (Brno)

After breakfast, visit the Valtice andLednice Chataeux. Drive to the national nature reserve of the Moravian Karst. A boat ride on river Punkva. Visit Maocha Abyss. Drive on to Brno, the metropolis of Moravia. DInner and overnight in Brno.

Day 6Brno- Hradec- Králové (Králové)

Post breakfast, short sightseeing tour of Brno, drive to Central Moravia – visit garden city of Kroměříž and Olomouc, city of churches. Later, depart for Hradec Kralove. Dinner and overnight in Králové.

Day 7Hradec- Králové- Prague-Departure

After breakfast, depart to visit Prague, enroute stop in Kutna Hora, visit St. Barbora’s Cathedral and the Royal Mint. Drive back to the Hilton Prague Hotel. Then, catch your onward flight back home.

All tours are subject to weather conditions and will operate only if weather permits, no refund will be given if services are not operated due to weather or natural problems.

Please make sure you follow the timings given by the driver and guide for all the services and transfers. In case you fail to follow the timings, the Driver will leave for which no refund will be given.

Hotel and airline cancellations to be applied.

Hotels suggested in the itinerary can be changed and will be equivalent or more to the one given to you in terms of price as per the official rate sheet of the hotel.

Please note to take care of the visa processing and its time as we will not be responsible for any kind of delays or refusal of visa from the concerned consulate and the cancellation policy of the holiday will be applied.

The above tour cost is calculated as per the current taxes, visa charges and other charges as per the current date. Any change till the time of departure and any additional cost of such nature will have to be taken care by the client.

Service tax extra as per new GST rules

Any kind of delays in flight such as fog or technical problem is not the responsibility of Trip Tap Toe and any kind of hotel cancellations and no shows will be the responsibility of the client.
