Baku is a beautiful coastal city that  can be best explored with a stroll along the seafront. The capital of Ajerbaijan that sprawls along the Caspian sea, it is famed due to its medieval fortress wall gracefully encircled with glittering stone mansions and tree lined pedestrian streets stuffed with exclusive boutiques. Strongly reflecting Soviet genes, the city flaunts jaw-dropping masterpieces with countless towers, the most striking being the iconic Maiden tower and the Flame towers, 3 pointed high rises covered with LED screens.

Gabala, also known as Qabala, is a thriving city in northern Azerbaijan. To the southwest lies Chukhur Gabala village that has ancient ruins, imposing gate towers that dates back to the city’s time as the capital of Caucasian Albania. Travel further to the northeastern outskirts, you will find amazing skiing opportunities.

This is a short and sweet manual for first timers who are planning a visit to Azerbaijan. We want to ensure that you have a shock proof experience during your time in Gabala Baku and hopefully avoid those “classic first time mistakes” during your vacation. Also, we have listed a few tips and giveaways for you so that you get to know your destination a little bit better and are able to enjoy a stress-free with your family and friends. Take note of these little pointers and you are good to go.

 

  • Best time to visit Gabala Baku- March-May & Sept-Oct ( for hiking and outdoor activities),
  • You don't have to necessarily learn their local language as English is widely spoken by the younger population. However, it doesn't hurt to learn the basics; "Hi and "Thank you" as a courtesy.
  • Azerbaijan is a relatively safe country. However, practice the needful cautions during night.
  • Tipping isn't a culture in Azerbaijan. They mostly add service charges to their bill. So, you don't really need to.
  • There are many markets in Baku where you can check out delicious food and local produce.
  • There is both coffee and wine in Azerbaijan and you can enjoy wine tasting in few wine bars as well great coffee in many of the street and town cafes.
  • For daily transportation, hop on to local buses and mini buses. You can also take the metro as it doesn't cost much.

Booking conditions

This Gabala Baku package is a seasonal tour with limited validity. Kindly confirm before booking the same.

There may be certain surcharges applicable at the time of booking. All above rates are subject to availability at the time of confirmation and can be changed without prior notice

Actual ROE is charged at the time of confirmation.

All tours are subject to weather conditions and will operate only if weather permits, no refund will be given if services are not operated due to weather or natural problems.

Please make sure you follow the timings given by the driver and guide for all the services and transfers. In case you fail to follow the timings, the Driver will leave for which no refund will be given.

Hotel and airline cancellations to be applied.

Hotels suggested in the itinerary can be changed and will be equivalent or more to the one given to you in terms of price as per the official rate sheet of the hotel.

Please note to take care of the visa processing and its time as we will not be responsible for any kind of delays or refusal of visa from the concerned consulate and the cancellation policy of the holiday will be applied.

The above tour cost is calculated as per the current taxes, visa charges and other charges as per the current date. Any change till the time of departure and any additional cost of such nature will have to be taken care by the client.
