Welcome to your holiday in Vietnam. Xin Chao! Namaste! Upon arrival at the airport, get transferred to the hotel for refreshments. Go for a short sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh city. Visit the 100 years old Red Cathedral, the Old Post office, the People’s Committee hall. DInner will be served on Saigon river at the end of the day.
After breakfast, a 1 and a 1/2 hour drive takes you to Cu Chi where your human knowledge enhances as you discover this 200km long web like tunnel system, that was guerrilla troops shelter during the Vietnam war.
Return to Ho Chi Minh city to enjoy buffet lunch. Post lunch, you will be transferred to Vung Tao, a famous beach resort 125km south of Ho Chi Minh marked by white powdery sandy beaches & warm water. In the evening, a sumptuous dinner awaits you at a local restaurant.
Post breakfast, enjoy Vung Tao city tour. Visit Chirst hill, 18m high Goddess of Mercy,Thuy Van beach and the intriguing whale temple, dedicated to whales that were considered as rescuing Gods of the fishermen in the east sea. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Ho Chi Minh city. Visit the War Museum, lacquer ware factory & handicraft center. Another sumptuous dinner awaits you at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, get ready for a 2 hour long drive to the colorful outskirts and picturesque rice fields along your journey. Upon arrival, get onboard on a boat to cruise along the Mekong river with islet stop at Thoi to enjoy some seasonal fruits and tradional folk songs. Then, experience the local’s authentic way of life and challenge your bargaining abilities at the cottage handicraft shops.
Later, go for an adventurous sampan ride in the palm shaded creeks along the riverside. Enjoy speacial Mekong Delta lunch- Deep fried elephant ear fish. Return to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon to explore China town & Thien Hau temple. As usual, a lipsmacking authentic dinner awaits you at a local restaurant.
