Also, we have listed a few tips and giveaways for you so that you know your destination a tidsy bit better and can enjoy a wholesome vacation with your family and friends. Take note of these little pointers and you are good to go.

  • Best time to book Europe trip - May, September and October ( Shoulder season). Crowd is less and rates are lower during this time. Weather is a little chill, Carrying a light jacket helps. Avoid travelling in AUGUST at all costs in any major city in Europe as locals consider it as their off month and hence, everything is close
  • Flights within Europe have become cheaper than before due to the introduction of low cost airlines, so you might wish to check once if you wish to save time while travelling between cities.
  • Service charges are usually included in the bill in restaurants, so you can leave a euro as a tip if you wish.
  • The most awaited answer to te most popular question- Schengen visa! Yes, Schengen area is a group of 26 European countries that do not require a passport to travel between their cities. So, yes, if you happen to visit any of the countires in the list, you need a Schengen visa.
  • If you wish to travel between cities, you r best bet is the Eurail pass that's cheaper, and even cheaper if you wish to travel cities within one country.
  • Drinking age for alcohol in most European cities are between 16-18 as the attitude towards binge drinking is less frowned upon here. Kids in Europe have usually grown up sipping wine with their parents. So, you can easily roam in the streets of Portugal, Spain or Germany with a beer in hand.
  • Nudity in the beach isn't a taboo in European cities as it is in most other countries. So, its not so uncommon to see women topless at the beach. There are specific nude beaches if you wish to know.
